Location: Lytham St Annes (Hybrid)
Our client, a well-established and highly respected independent financial planning firm, is looking to appoint an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join its growing support team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) administration experience who enjoys providing exceptional client service while supporting Financial Planners and Paraplanners in delivering first-class financial planning solutions.
Working within a collaborative and professional environment, you'll become an integral part of the client journey, ensuring every case is managed accurately, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.
The Opportunity
As a Financial Services Administrator, you'll provide comprehensive administrative support throughout the financial planning process while maintaining exceptional standards of client care and compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing documentation and portfolio valuations for client review meetings
- Supporting Financial Planners and Paraplanners with the administration of new and existing client cases
- Processing new business applications, policy servicing and review work within agreed timescales
- Maintaining accurate client records and compliance documentation
- Liaising with clients, providers and third parties to manage ongoing case progression
- Responding to client enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Ensuring all administration complies with FCA and internal regulatory standards
- Working collaboratively with the wider financial planning team to deliver an outstanding client experience
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of two years' experience within an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) administration role(essential)
- Experience administering pensions, investments and wealth management products
- Strong knowledge of financial planning administration processes
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities within a busy office environment
- A proactive, positive and team-focused approach
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience using financial planning back-office systems and investment platforms would be advantageous
