Our client is an established and growing financial services organisation seeking an experienced Self-Employed Private Wealth Adviser to join its expanding UK advisory team.
This opportunity is ideal for ambitious advisers who want the freedom of self-employment while benefiting from the infrastructure, compliance support and operational expertise of a well-established business.
You'll have the autonomy to build and grow your own client bank, supported by an experienced team, professional introducer relationships, marketing initiatives and a collaborative culture focused on long-term success.
The Opportunity
This role is designed for advisers who enjoy business development, client acquisition and building lasting client relationships.
You'll focus on developing your own portfolio of clients while delivering holistic financial planning solutions. Supported by experienced compliance, paraplanning and operational teams, you'll be free to concentrate on providing exceptional advice and growing your business.
Success in this role will be measured through client acquisition, retention, recurring revenue and long-term client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Growth
- Build and develop your own portfolio of clients through referrals, networking, events and proactive business development.
- Convert prospective clients into long-term advisory relationships.
- Retain and strengthen client relationships through exceptional service and ongoing financial advice.
- Generate new business opportunities with the support of the firm's brand, marketing activities and professional introducer network.
Financial Planning & Advice
- Deliver holistic financial advice across investments, pensions, protection, retirement, tax and estate planning.
- Conduct regular client reviews and adapt financial strategies as clients' circumstances evolve.
- Support clients with increasingly complex financial planning requirements, including internationally connected individuals where appropriate.
- Ensure all advice is delivered in accordance with FCA regulations and best practice.
About You
Essential
- Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice (or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a practising Financial Adviser.
- A commercial mindset with a strong focus on business development and client acquisition.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with central support teams.
- Excellent communication, organisational and relationship management skills.
Desirable
- An existing client bank that may be transferable.
- Additional professional qualifications or regulatory permissions.
- Experience advising expatriate or internationally mobile clients.
