Job Description:

Part-Time Paraplanner

Remote | Flexible Hours | Cross-Border Financial Planning

Our client is an expanding boutique private client advisory business specialising in holistic, cross-border financial planning for internationally mobile families and expatriate clients.

As the business continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to provide high-quality technical support on a flexible, part-time, remote basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for meaningful, technically challenging work with the potential to grow alongside an ambitious and highly professional business.

Initially, the role will focus on ad hoc case support and report writing, with the expectation that it will naturally develop into a more substantial, long-term position as the client base and workload expand.

The Role

Working closely with the firm's principal, you will provide technical and administrative support across a range of financial planning cases, helping to deliver exceptional client outcomes.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing suitability reports and recommendation letters
  • Conducting technical financial planning research
  • Pension, investment and retirement planning analysis
  • Cashflow planning support
  • Liaising with providers to obtain policy information
  • Assisting with client review preparation
  • Ensuring files are compliant and accurately maintained
  • Supporting the delivery of holistic financial planning solutions

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience as a Financial Planning Paraplanner
  • Holds (or is working towards) a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent
  • Produces high-quality suitability reports with excellent attention to detail
  • Has strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and retirement planning
  • Works independently and manages their own workload effectively
  • Is organised, proactive and client-focused
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience supporting cross-border or expatriate financial planning would be advantageous but is not essential.

What's on Offer

  • Fully remote working
  • Flexible part-time hours
  • Interesting and technically engaging casework
  • Opportunity to work directly with an experienced financial planning professional
  • Genuine opportunity for the role to grow into a longer-term, potentially full-time position as the business expands
  • Supportive, collaborative and highly professional working environment

If you are an experienced Paraplanner looking for flexibility while remaining involved in high-quality financial planning work, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply in confidence by contacting IRCFS (International Recruiters – Connecting Financial Specialists).

Please note: To protect our client's confidentiality, further details will be shared with shortlisted candidates following an initial discussion.
