Our client is a well-established, independent wealth management firm that provides holistic financial planning to individuals, families and business owners across the UK.
As part of its continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their collaborative technical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong paraplanner who enjoys delivering high-quality financial planning support within a client-first, independent advice environment.
Working alongside experienced Financial Planners, you will play a vital role in researching, analysing and preparing complex financial planning recommendations, helping to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.
The Opportunity
This role offers exposure to a broad range of financial planning cases covering pensions, investments, protection, estate planning and retirement strategies.
You will work closely with advisers throughout the advice process, ensuring every recommendation is technically robust, compliant and tailored to each client's objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed suitability reports and financial planning recommendations.
- Conduct technical research across pensions, investments and protection solutions.
- Analyse client objectives and existing financial arrangements.
- Prepare cashflow modelling and financial planning analysis.
- Assist advisers in developing holistic financial planning strategies.
- Liaise with product providers, platforms and discretionary fund managers.
- Ensure all recommendations meet FCA regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate client records and technical documentation.
- Support advisers with client review meetings and ongoing servicing.
- Contribute to improving internal processes and technical standards.
About You
To be successful you will have:
- Previous Paraplanning experience within an Independent Financial Advice or Wealth Management firm.
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential).
- Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning.
- Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with both colleagues and clients.
- A proactive approach and genuine passion for delivering quality financial planning.
Desirable
- Progress towards Chartered Financial Planner status.
- Experience using cashflow modelling software and industry back-office systems.
