Experienced Paraplanner | Hybrid | Up to £50,000 | Financial Planning
Location: Lytham St Annes (Hybrid)
Our client, a well-established and highly respected independent financial planning firm, is looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to join its growing technical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paraplanner who enjoys producing high-quality financial planning reports, undertaking technical research, and working closely with Financial Planners to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
Joining a collaborative and supportive team, you'll play a key role in delivering bespoke financial planning solutions for a diverse portfolio of personal and business clients while continuing to develop your technical expertise.
The Opportunity
As an integral member of the financial planning team, you'll provide comprehensive technical support to advisers throughout the advice process, ensuring recommendations are accurate, compliant and tailored to each client's individual objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting technical research across pensions, investments, retirement planning and tax-efficient solutions
- Preparing detailed suitability reports and financial planning recommendations
- Supporting Financial Planners with complex client cases
- Analysing existing financial arrangements and identifying suitable planning opportunities
- Maintaining accurate client records and compliance documentation
- Ensuring recommendations meet FCA and regulatory standards
- Keeping up to date with legislative, regulatory and industry developments
- Working collaboratively with Financial Planners and Client Support teams to deliver an outstanding client experience
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of two years' experience in a Paraplanning or Technical Financial Planning role
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent), or be actively working towards completion
- Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, retirement planning and taxation
- Experience writing high-quality suitability reports
- Excellent analytical and research skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and organisational ability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience within an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) or Wealth Management environment
