Client Manager | Financial Planning | Hybrid | £32,000–£50,000

Location: Wilmslow, Cheshire (Hybrid)

Our client, a highly respected independent Chartered financial planning firm, is looking to appoint an ambitious Client Manager to join its growing team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced financial planning professional who enjoys working closely with both advisers and clients, delivering an exceptional client experience while developing their technical knowledge and long-term career within wealth management.

This role offers far more than traditional administration or paraplanning. You'll become an integral part of the client journey, supporting Financial Planners, building trusted client relationships, and helping deliver bespoke financial planning solutions.

The Opportunity

Working alongside experienced Financial Planners, you'll play a key role in ensuring clients receive an outstanding level of service from initial meetings through to the implementation of recommendations and ongoing reviews.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Attending client meetings alongside Financial Planners
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with your own portfolio of clients
  • Supporting the development and implementation of personalised financial planning strategies
  • Conducting technical research across pensions, investments and protection solutions
  • Preparing high-quality suitability reports and recommendation documentation
  • Completing regular portfolio and investment reviews
  • Managing client communications, review meetings and ongoing servicing
  • Ensuring recommendations are implemented efficiently and accurately
  • Maintaining exceptional standards of compliance and Consumer Duty throughout the client journey

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
  • Experience within a Financial Planning, Wealth Management or Independent Financial Advice environment
  • Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning processes
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive, organised and client-focused approach
  • High attention to detail and strong technical capability
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional client outcomes
