Location: Brighton & Hove, UK

Our client, a well-established and highly respected independent financial planning firm, is looking to appoint an experienced Client Support Administrator to join its growing support team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in financial planning, wealth management or an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) environment who enjoys delivering first-class client service while supporting Financial Planners and Paraplanners behind the scenes.

You'll become an integral part of a collaborative team, helping to ensure every client receives a professional, efficient and seamless experience throughout their financial planning journey.

The Opportunity

Working closely with Financial Planners, Paraplanners and the wider support team, you'll manage a variety of administrative and client service responsibilities while ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, compliance and client care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients via telephone, email and written correspondence
  • Supporting Financial Planners and Paraplanners with the administration of client cases
  • Processing new business applications, fund switches, withdrawals and policy servicing
  • Liaising with product providers to manage applications, transfers and ongoing transactions
  • Preparing client documentation and maintaining accurate electronic records
  • Ensuring client information remains fully compliant with FCA, AML, GDPR and Consumer Duty requirements
  • Managing Letters of Authority and monitoring outstanding provider requests
  • Maintaining accurate client records using back-office systems
  • Supporting the preparation of review meetings and client documentation
  • Assisting with general office administration and wider team projects where required
  • Delivering an exceptional level of customer service throughout every stage of the client journey

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA), Wealth Management or Financial Planning business
  • Experience supporting advisers, paraplanners or client service teams
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach
  • The ability to prioritise workloads within a busy environment
  • Experience using Intelligent Office (IO) or similar financial planning software would be advantageous
