Our client, a highly respected international wealth management firm, is seeking an ambitious Private Wealth Manager to join its growing Cape Town team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced wealth management professional looking to work with both local and internationally mobile clients, delivering holistic financial planning and sophisticated wealth management solutions across multiple jurisdictions.

You'll advise high-net-worth individuals and families on every aspect of their financial future while building long-term client relationships and developing your own portfolio within a supportive, growth-focused environment.

The Opportunity

As a Private Wealth Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering comprehensive financial planning and investment advice while identifying new business opportunities and expanding your client portfolio.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Meeting prospective and existing clients to understand their financial goals and objectives
• Delivering holistic financial planning covering investments, retirement planning, estate planning, insurance and wealth preservation
• Advising clients on both local and international investment solutions
• Designing tailored wealth management strategies aligned to each client's objectives and risk profile
• Conducting comprehensive financial reviews and portfolio analysis
• Building long-term client relationships through regular review meetings and ongoing servicing
• Growing your client bank through referrals, networking and proactive business development
• Monitoring investment performance and recommending portfolio adjustments where appropriate
• Keeping abreast of financial markets, legislation and industry developments
• Working within regulatory guidelines while delivering consistently high standards of professional advice

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Financial Adviser, Wealth Manager, Private Banker or Financial Planner
• Strong knowledge of investments, retirement planning, wealth management and financial planning
• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families
• Excellent relationship-building and business development skills
• A consultative, client-focused approach to financial planning
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to generate new business opportunities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• The ability to build long-term trusted relationships with clients
• Relevant financial planning qualifications, with a commitment to ongoing professional development
